A quick review of the Stand Up website and it looks like a promo for the Gabbards than advertising or promoting the goals of the non-profit. It also appears that it (Stand Up) did nothing for over 3 years and that would have been just as Mr. Gabbard was finishing his last campaign. Maybe there is always drama around the Gabbards because they are not always following the rules. You would think that since they have so many "adversaries" they would be 100% above board.
My e-mail inbox in recent days has been inundated with complaints about Sen. Mike Gabbard and his daughter Tulsi Gabbard Tamayo, a candidate in City Council District 6, using a nonprofit organization they created to advance their politics. The tax-exempt organization Stand Up For America was formed by the Gabbards after 9/11 to promote patriotism, [...]
I am 27 years old and started smoking at the age of 17. I stopped when i was 19 to the age of 20 (roughly 12 months) then i relapsed and didnt quit again until i was 25. I quit for about 10 months the relapsed on day when i was drinking with some old friends i had not seen in a long time. I thought it would be ok to just smoke once since i had gone for so long.
Looking into renting a 2br townhouse (2 levels) in Boston (cold winter) where I'll have to pay Gas for heat/cooking/hot water. C
I'm a homeowner and our average monthly bill is around $125 give or take $25. I'd love to install a wind turbine if it would work efficiently and cut our costs. I have no clue and would like to avoid days of research and defer to a professional if it is viable cost wise to try this project. I know there may be green grants or special financing available but again have no clue about total costs, pay back venues such as years to return investment and options for even more then one turbine. We are in a bit of a forced wind tunnel because of wall and home placement so we have abundant resources. Any heads up information would be very helpful.

My company is looking for a piece of property to do a showcase piece for some local Congressmen. The property needs to have elevation, plenty of water in and around the property and be close to power lines. In return for allowing us to build, the owners will get the power to become self suffecient and all excess power will become residual income to them. The requirements is that my company and the politicians will have full access to the energy farm for study and presentation factors.
assisted water heaters?. I used this type of system in a home I owned in the 80's. I can fabricate the solar loop myself. I plan to use copper for the loop. Does anyone know if schedule 80 pvc is an efficient alternative to copper? I've been out of the "loop" for quite awhile. Thanks
Hi, Ive always enjoyed a drink, about a year ago me and my 5 year girlfriend went our different ways, I was a real mess for months, scared of meeting somene new and getting close, not wanting to get hurt. Eventually I met someone new, I was happy, she was happy. She fell pregnant and to start with it was a scary idea but we both got used to the idea. A few weeks later she tells me she doesnt want me or the baby. We broke up and I just lost interest in being around people, fed up of getting hurt.
I am 33 & have been smoking daily since i was 16. Over the years i gave up for 1 year only but started again (stupidly). Had a bit of a rough time through teens & when i was 23 had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in losing the baby & 1 of my tubes. from there I found out I wouldn't be able to have children naturally, smoking has put these things to the back of my mind which was great short term but long term i have ran away & never faced up to these things.
It's the old "curse of knowledge" dilemma isn't it? It's easy to assume visitors know how to comment or even that commenting is encouraged. Excellent post.

Aside from the obvious ignorance of Ka’auwai’s statement, it also demonstrates an ignorance of Hawaii’s election history. If you look at the election results from '04, '06, and '08, you’ll find that there were only 3 winning Republicans (Lingle, Gabbard, and Awana) who had any primary challengers at all, and each of them won their primary elections by landslide victories. Choosing the Republican ballot may make a statement, but it’s clearly a waste of what little political power Republicans have in Hawaii. Like it or not, most of our elections are decided in the primary by voters who choose the Democratic ballot. Republicans will almost certainly have a chance to vote for Aiona in the general election, but if they are smart, they'll use the primary election to help decide between Abercrombie and Hanemann... regardless of which one they prefer as a second choice to Aiona.
